STATE RESTRICTIONS AND CHECKOUT  WARNINGS: 

AGE RESTRICTIONS:  You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped UPS Ground and cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes. For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on ammunition. Always make sure you use the correct ammunition for your specific firearm. Check your local laws for any other regulations.

By placing an order for restricted items, you are verifying that you have no felony convictions, that you are in compliance with Federal Law 18U.S.C. 922(D)-(1)-(9), and in comp. .compliance with all Federal and State regulations that apply and you agree to the returns/cancellation policy for Exammo.com

Shipping and order fulfillment can take anywhere from 2 to 8 business (worst case scenario, general shipping 1 to 3 business days) days from the time of the order. By placing your order you agree to these terms and conditions of the website including acceptance of possible delays to order fulfilment. If you choose to cancel an order, after it has been placed. Be aware that is a non-refundable $50 cancellation fee, see cancellation section.

ATTENTION: Due to current circumstances, we are not shipping to Puerto Rico, the states of Alaska (AK), Hawaii (HI), Massachusetts (MA), Chicago or Cook County, or the District of Columbia. Residents of CA, CT, IL, NJ, and NY see below:

If you reside in one of the states below, please email a valid copy of the information required by your state for your order to be shipped.  

Exammo complies with all local, state, and federal laws with respect to the sale of ammunition.

CANCELLATIONS:  

If you choose to cancel an order after it is placed and cannot fulfill the requirements listed below there is a one time $50 cancellation fee on all orders, no exceptions, this means you….ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  This mean even if order is one minute old.  If you are in doubt of your order please don't place it, wait and ask for help.  Once you committ the order, it costs us money to return money to credit cards, even if order is less than 1 day old.  If we have to pay it, you have to pay it.

 1)   Alabama- Brass or steel Teflon-coated handgun ammo, unless designed to expand on contact.

 2)   Alaska – No Sales, No exceptions.  

 3)   Arizona-  No restrictions on ammunition

 4)   California – Copy of receiving dealers FFL and Driver’s License or State ID

 5)   Colorado-  No restrictions on ammunition

 6)   Connecticut – No armor piercing ammo

State also requires photogrphic copy to be sent to us of the STATE ID and ONE of the following:

  • Pistol or Revolver Carry Permit
  • Pistol or Revolver Selling Permit
  • Eligibility Certificate for Pistol or Revolver
  • Long Gun Eligibility Certificate
  • Ammunition Certificate
  • Can be mailed to [email protected]

 9)   Georgia-  No restrictions on ammunition
10)  Hawaii– No Sales, No exceptions.  

11)  Idaho–  No restrictions on ammunition  

12)  Illinois– State requires the photographic copies of the following:

  • FOID Card & Drivers License
  • STATE ID (Also Required)
  • Can be mailed to [email protected]  

We are unable to ship to the city of Chicago and Cook County due to location restrictions, no exceptions.

14)  Iowa-   No restrictions on Ammunition

15)  Kansas-  No restrictions on Ammunition

16)  Kentucky-  Armor Piercing Ammunition

17)  Louisana-  No restrictions on Ammunition

18)  Maine-  Armor Piercing Ammunition except part of a collection


19)  Maryland- Possession of restricted ammo: 
  • Contains explosive or incendiary material designed and intended for use in a firearm
  • Has a core constructed, excluding traces of other substances, entirely from one or a combination of: 
    • Tungsten alloys
    • Steel
    • Iron
    • Brass
    • Beryllium copper
    • Depleted uranium
    • An equivalent material of similar density or hardness to those listed above

Massachusetts- No Sales of Ammunition Blame your attorney general

Michigan-           No restrictions on Ammunition

Minnesota-        No restrictions on Ammunition

Mississippi-         No restrictions on Ammunition

Missouri-             No restricitons on Ammunition

Montana-            No restrictions on Ammunition

Nebraska-           No restrictions on Ammunition

Nevada-               No restrictions on Ammunition

New Jersey– State requires photographic copy be send of one of the following:

  • FLIP Card
  • Firearms Purchaser
  • ID Card Permit to Purchase Handgun
  • Handgun Carry Permit
  • Can be mailed to [email protected]  
New Mexico-      No Restrictions on ammunition

New York– Copy of receiving dealers FFL and Drivers License or State ID.  Also ensure that  your FFL will received shipments from outside ammunition sellers.  We had a lot of issue with highly regulated states denying shipments from us.  Please confirm with FFL first.

North Carolina:  Teflon coated ammunition restricted

Ohio–                  No restictions on ammunition

South Carolina:  Teflon coated ammunition restricted

Texas–                No restictions on ammunition
